Mushin Map Poster & Print
Mushin is one of the older and most densely populated districts of mainland Lagos. It sits in the middle of the metropolis, between Surulere, Yaba and Ikeja, and several of the city's main arterial roads and rail lines pass through or along it. For many Lagosians it is a place of markets, workshops and busy street life.
On a map Mushin is striking for its density. Residential streets are packed closely together in a fine, mostly rectilinear pattern, broken only by the wide lines of the main roads and the railway. There are few large open spaces, so the street network covers almost the entire area in an even, busy texture.
A Mushin map poster captures that intensity. Seen from above, the tight grid of streets and the heavy lines of the transport corridors create a bold, graphic composition, very different from the coastal and lagoon-edged districts elsewhere in Lagos.

Arterial roads
Major routes that link central Lagos with the northern suburbs run along or through Mushin, cutting clear, wide lines through the tight grid.
Rail corridor
The railway line adds a long, straight edge across the mainland, separating Mushin from its neighbours and giving the map a firm structure.
