Nanfeng Map Poster & Print
Nanfeng is a town in the interior of Hainan, China's southern island province, away from the resort coastline most visitors know. Its setting is quieter: low hills, plantations and farmland, with the town itself forming a modest cluster of streets where roads meet. On the map, it appears as a compact node within a much wider rural landscape.
The streets of towns like this one tend to follow the main roads closely, with shops and houses lining the through routes and smaller lanes spreading out behind. Beyond the built area, the land is divided into fields and plantations, and the gentle relief of Hainan's interior is suggested by the way roads bend around higher ground and water.
Hainan's tropical climate and plantation economy shape the character of the countryside around towns in this part of the island. A Nanfeng map poster keeps the focus on the essential geometry of the town: its main roads, its tight centre and the open land that surrounds it on every side.
