Wenchang Map Poster & Print
Wenchang lies on the northeastern corner of Hainan Island, and the sea is never far from any part of its map. The coastline is long and varied, with sandy beaches, sheltered bays and inlets. Inland, a compact urban centre gives way to villages and plantations, and a river runs from the town toward the coast. Roads link the scattered coastal settlements along the shore.
Wenchang is closely associated with coconut groves, and the local chicken dish carries its name across China. More recently it has become known for the Wenchang Space Launch Site, China's coastal spaceport, from which major missions have been launched. Many overseas Chinese families trace their roots to the area, and older buildings in the town reflect those connections.
A Wenchang map poster works at two scales. Close in, it shows the centre's streets and the river winding through them. Framed wider, the coastline takes over, with its bays and headlands shaping the outline of the land. Either way, the sea dominates the composition, which makes this an unusually open and airy print.

Town and river
A compact centre sits along a river that runs toward the sea. Its streets form the densest cluster on the map, surrounded by more open countryside.
Coastal roads
Roads link the town with coastal villages and the launch site area. They trace long lines through plantations and give the wider view its structure.

Zakaj Wenchang
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni

You can personalise the title, a subtitle such as a family name or a launch date, and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
