Newburg Map Poster & Print
Newburg sits within the Louisville metropolitan area in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and on a map it reads as part of a larger urban weave rather than a separate town. Residential streets fold into loops and short dead ends. A few long, straight roads carry traffic toward downtown Louisville and the surrounding suburbs, and they give the plan a clear direction.
The community has long been associated with a historically African American settlement that grew on this side of the city, and its roots go back to the nineteenth century. Today it is a mix of older neighbourhood streets and later subdivisions. The pattern changes block by block: tight rows of houses in one place, wider lots and winding drives in the next.
A Newburg map poster shows that mix plainly. Straight roads cross the view in firm lines, and the smaller residential streets fill the gaps with curves and pockets. There is no river or coastline to organise the composition. It is a map of how an American neighbourhood takes shape around its roads, and it works for anyone who knows these streets from daily life.

Subdivision loops
Later housing developments add curving streets, crescents and cul-de-sacs. They sit next to the straighter older blocks and give the map a softer, more rounded texture in places.
Metro context
Newburg is one part of a continuous Louisville street network. When the frame is wide enough, the neighbouring grids show at the edges and place the community within the wider city.

Zakaj Newburg
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People who grew up in Newburg, or whose families did, often want a plain record of the streets they walked. A map without landmarks or labels puts the attention on the layout itself, which is often the part people remember best.
You can set the title and subtitle, and add a date for a move, a birth or a reunion. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room, and edit the coordinates line if you like.
