Nuneaton Map Poster & Print
Nuneaton lies in north Warwickshire, where the small River Anker winds through the town on its way north. The centre is compact and hemmed in by a ring road, and beyond it terraced streets and later estates spread out in every direction. The Coventry Canal passes along the western side, following the contours in long, gentle bends.
The town grew on coal, quarrying and textiles, and traces of that industry remain in the landscape. A conical spoil heap left by old workings stands to the north and is a local landmark visible for miles. Nuneaton is also the birthplace of George Eliot, whose novels drew on the town and the countryside around it.
A Nuneaton map poster shows a Midlands town with a clear structure: a tight core inside its ring road, the river cutting through, the canal on its steady course, and rail lines converging at the station. Around the edge, estates and fields meet along a soft, irregular boundary.

Coventry Canal
The canal follows a smooth, contour-hugging line along the town's western side, a calm curve that contrasts with the grid of surrounding streets.
River Anker
The small river winds north through the town, its meandering course marked by thin strips of green space between the neighbourhoods.
