Orai Map Poster & Print
Orai is the administrative centre of Jalaun district in Uttar Pradesh, in the northern part of the Bundelkhand region. On a map the town sits on flat, open ground, and its shape is determined by transport rather than terrain. A main highway and the railway line pass through, and the denser streets gather where these routes approach the centre.
The older parts of town show the fine, irregular street pattern typical of north Indian market towns, while newer residential areas and government offices extend in more open blocks. Around the edges, the built area thins into farmland crossed by field boundaries and small roads. The Yamuna flows to the north of the district, but the town itself lies away from the river.
An Orai map poster is a straightforward, honest portrait of a working district town: its market core, its connecting roads and the fields that surround it. For people from Orai living in larger cities or abroad, it is a way to keep a clear image of home that few other products offer.

Railway line
The railway crosses the plain in a straight line, with the station area forming one of the busier parts of the town's street network.
Surrounding plain
Beyond the built-up area, the flat Bundelkhand landscape extends in every direction, giving the map a wide, open frame of farmland.

Zakaj Orai
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Orai may not appear in travel guides, but for the people who grew up here it is the most important map of all. A poster of its streets and roads gives that personal connection the same attention usually reserved for major cities.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download HD files or order a matte printed poster.
