Woodrow Wilson Bridge
The Beltway crosses the Potomac here on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Its long straight line over open water links Oxon Hill with Alexandria and gives the poster a strong horizontal.

Oxon Hill Map Poster & Print
Oxon Hill lies in Prince George's County, across the Potomac from Alexandria and a short distance south of Washington, D.C. On a map it is shaped by roads. The Capital Beltway sweeps through toward the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, Indian Head Highway and Oxon Hill Road run north to south, and residential streets curl between them in the looping patterns of postwar American suburbs.
The western edge is water. The Potomac shoreline bends past Oxon Cove and the waterfront development of National Harbor, where a tight grid of new streets contrasts with the curving cul-de-sacs further inland. Stream valleys and wooded parkland break up the housing, so the black-and-white drawing alternates between dense street patterns and open, quiet spaces.
An Oxon Hill map poster shows river, highway and neighbourhood in a single frame. The area takes its name from the colonial-era Oxon Hill estate, and Oxon Hill Manor, a house from the late 1920s overlooking the river, still carries the name. Whether you live here or just drive through, the map shows how closely the community is tied to the capital region.

National Harbor waterfront
Along the river, the planned streets of National Harbor form a compact, geometric cluster that stands out sharply against the looser suburban layout around it.
Oxon Cove
A broad inlet of the Potomac and the parkland around it leave a large open area near the river, a calm break in an otherwise busy street network.

Zakaj Oxon Hill
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang Oxon Hill for many reasons. It might be the first house they bought, the neighbourhood where their children grew up, or a stretch between Virginia and the District they know by heart. The map shows the river, the bridge and the local streets together.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, so the poster can carry a street name, a family surname or the date you moved in. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Buy it as $9 digital files or as a printed poster.
