Arterial road frame
Long straight roads such as Ridge Road and State Road divide Parma into large blocks. On paper they work as a scaffold, and the dense residential streets fill the space between them.

Parma Map Poster & Print
Parma sits directly south of Cleveland and is one of the largest suburbs in Ohio. From above it reads as a near-square block of land filled with residential streets. Most of them were laid out in the building boom after the Second World War, when the city grew from a farming township into a dense commuter community within about two decades.
The map is organised by a handful of long roads. Ridge Road and State Road run north to south through the city, and major east–west arterials cross them at regular intervals. Between those roads the housing tracts fill in with short blocks, cul-de-sacs and curving lanes. Together they make a fine, even texture that looks almost woven when printed in black on white.
The city has long been associated with Eastern European communities, especially Ukrainian and Polish families whose churches and shops still line parts of its main roads. A Parma, Ohio map poster shows the everyday geometry of that place: rows of houses and small commercial strips, and the green interruption of the creek valley along the western side.

West Creek valley
A wooded stream valley, protected as part of the Cleveland Metroparks system, leaves an irregular green seam in the street pattern and breaks up the regular suburban grid.
Postwar subdivisions
Tract after tract of mid-century housing shows up as small loops, short dead ends and gently curved streets, one of the clearest pictures of American suburban planning.

Zakaj Parma
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People who grew up in Parma often remember it street by street: the walk to school, the parish hall, the drive along Ridge Road. A map of its grid gives that memory a clear shape, and it looks at home in a kitchen, a hallway or a first apartment somewhere else.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a family address or the year a house was bought. The map comes in five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, so the same streets can suit a quiet wall or a darker room.
