Prestwich Map Poster & Print
Prestwich lies in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, just north of Manchester city centre. On a map, it is a mix of Victorian terraces, interwar semis and later housing, arranged along a few main roads that head north from the city. The Metrolink tram line to Bury runs through it, a straight route across the suburban streets.
To the east, the large open space of Heaton Park borders the town, one of the biggest municipal parks in Europe. To the west, the land drops toward the River Irwell, where Prestwich Clough, a wooded valley, cuts into the slope. These green edges make the town's shape easy to read.
A Prestwich map poster shows a residential town framed by landscape: dense streets in the centre, parkland to one side, river valley to the other. It is a map of a place many people know as home, with enough open space to make the composition feel balanced.
