Pulgaon Map Poster & Print
Pulgaon lies in Wardha district in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, on the Wardha River. On a map, the river curves along the edge of the town, and a main railway line crosses the area in a firm, straight stroke. The town centre is a dense cluster of lanes and small blocks, with residential areas spreading out along the main roads.
Pulgaon is widely known for its large Central Ammunition Depot, a major military installation near the town. On a map, it shows as a vast, orderly area, very different in character from the organic town. The surrounding district is cotton-growing country, and farmland with village roads extends in every direction across the gently rolling Deccan plateau.
A Pulgaon map poster brings together the river, the railway and the busy town centre. The winding Wardha and the straight rail line make an interesting pair of lines, and the town's dense fabric sits between them. It is a clear, honest portrait of a working town in central India.
