Lushui River
The river winds through the city and is the map's main natural feature. It links the urban area to the reservoir and hills upstream.

Puqi Map Poster & Print
Puqi is the main urban area of Chibi, a county-level city under Xianning in southern Hubei. On a map it shows a mix common across central China: a dense older centre, wide newer avenues and large residential compounds laid out in blocks, all fitted between low hills and patches of water. The Lushui River flows through the city.
The surrounding countryside is a patchwork of ponds, reservoirs, rice fields and wooded hills, typical of the lake-dotted lowlands along the middle Yangtze. Conventional and high-speed railways pass close by and add long straight lines to the irregular pattern of fields and villages. Newer districts are steadily filling the ground between them.
The name Chibi means Red Cliffs, and the site associated with the famous battle of 208 AD lies beside the Yangtze, northwest of the urban area. A Puqi map poster focuses on the everyday city rather than the battlefield: streets, river and scattered lakes arranged across a gently rolling landscape.

Newer avenues
Broad modern roads and large residential blocks surround the older centre. They form a strong grid that extends outward into former fields.
Ponds and reservoirs
Small lakes and ponds are scattered across the countryside around the city. Their irregular shapes break up the edges of the composition.
