Quaraí Map Poster & Print
Quaraí is at the far south-western tip of Rio Grande do Sul, on the river of the same name that forms the border with Uruguay. Directly across the water is the Uruguayan town of Artigas. On a map, Quaraí's streets form a regular grid that stops at the riverbank. The river is a winding line, so the edge of the grid bends to follow it.
A bridge over the river links the two towns, and the map shows a single road crossing between two grids that face each other. Around them is the open pampa of the region, with cattle country and few roads.
A Quaraí map poster sets the tidy grid against the river's soft curves and the neighbouring town on the far bank. It tells a clear story in simple lines, two countries and one crossing, and suits people with roots on either side of the border.

Twin grids
Quaraí and Artigas face each other with similar street grids. Seen together, they look like two halves of one pattern split by the water.
The crossing
An international bridge connects the two towns. On the poster, its single line across the river is a small detail that ties the whole composition together.

Zakaj Quaraí
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Quaraí is a place of family ties across the border, with people who grew up with two countries in sight. A map that shows both banks and the bridge between them captures that in a way a photo seldom does.
Write the title and subtitle in Portuguese or Spanish, and keep the coordinates or change them. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Check a free 900 px preview before buying the $9 files or a printed poster.
