Valley settlement
The town gathers along the valley floor, where flat land is scarce and valuable. Its streets stay close to the lowest ground, forming a compact, elongated shape on the map.

Qushi Map Poster & Print
Qushi is in western Yunnan, in the Tengchong area near the Myanmar border. It is a small town in a valley among high, forested ranges, with the Gaoligong Mountains rising to the east. The region is known for its volcanic landscape and hot springs, and the land around the town is intensively farmed wherever the ground is level enough.
From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets along the valley. Roads keep to the lower ground and tracks climb into the hills. Fields fill the flat land between settlements in tight, irregular patches. The contrast between the dense valley and the empty, steep ground around it gives the map a strong sense of enclosure.
A Qushi map poster keeps a remote mountain place in view. It suits people who grew up here, travellers who passed through on the way to Tengchong's volcanic landscapes, and anyone drawn to maps where the terrain decides every line. In a restrained style, the valley reads almost like a riverbed of streets winding between the ranges.

Mountain roads
Roads leaving Qushi wind up into the surrounding ridges, and their curves trace the terrain closely. In monochrome these lines become the most expressive part of the composition.
Volcanic country
The town belongs to a wider volcanic region known for hot springs and cinder cones. That geology is part of what gives this corner of Yunnan its broken, uneven topography.

Zakaj Qushi
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A map of Qushi is a small tribute to a place most maps skip over. It suits a hallway or a study, where the winding roads and valley shape can be read slowly, and it makes a considered gift for someone from the area.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and there are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the free 900 px preview first, then choose HD files or a printed poster on matte paper.
