Rat Burana Map Poster & Print
Rat Burana is a district on the western, Thonburi side of Bangkok, lying along a broad bend of the Chao Phraya as the river heads toward the Gulf of Thailand. On the map, the river forms its eastern edge, and the district is a patchwork of dense housing, factories, warehouses and older canalside communities, laced with the khlongs that once served as its main streets.
The Rama IX Bridge, a cable-stayed crossing of the Chao Phraya, connects Rat Burana with the opposite bank and carries an expressway high above the water. Main roads such as Suk Sawat run roughly parallel to the river, while side lanes, or soi, branch off in fine, comb-like patterns toward the water and inland.
Canals thread between the blocks, and parts of the district still have a quieter, riverside character. A Rat Burana map poster shows how the city meets the water here: the heavy curve of the Chao Phraya, the long line of the bridge and the delicate mesh of lanes and khlongs that fills the land between the main roads.

Zakaj Rat Burana
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For Bangkok residents, the district they live in often feels more personal than the city as a whole. A map of Rat Burana can mark a family home, a childhood by the river or a first condo, and suits a living room as well as an office.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with your soi, a family name or a date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a matte print.
