Hill country
The settlement spreads across rolling ground, so roads curve along ridges and dip into valleys. The result is an organic, flowing pattern that fills the map without a strict grid.

Rutoma Map Poster & Print
Rutoma lies in the Western Region of Uganda, a little south of the equator, in a landscape of rolling hills and green valleys. From above it looks like a settlement shaped by the terrain rather than a planned grid. Roads follow the ridges and valley floors, and homes spread outward along them into the farmland around it.
The wider region is largely agricultural, and the map shows this in a patchwork of small plots, tracks and scattered homesteads between the denser areas. Main roads connect Rutoma to neighbouring towns and trading centres. Footpaths and minor lanes branch off towards homes on the hillsides, and water, where it appears, runs through the lower ground.
Western Uganda is known for its highlands, its cattle-keeping traditions and its fertile soil, and places like Rutoma are part of that everyday landscape. A Rutoma map poster is a calm, clear record of home: roads crossing the hills, the texture of fields and houses, and the open space in between.

Connecting roads
Main routes to nearby towns cross the frame as the strongest lines. Narrower lanes and tracks branch off from them towards homes and farms on the slopes.
Farmland patchwork
Around the built-up area, small fields and scattered homesteads form a fine, irregular texture that gives the poster a quiet rural character and plenty of open space.
