Elbe river bend
The broad Elbe runs along the town, with open floodplain meadows on the far bank, so one whole side of the map is formed by water and green land.

Schönebeck Map Poster & Print
Schönebeck lies on the Elbe just south of Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt. On the map, the river is the strongest feature: a wide band that bends along the edge of town, with meadows and floodplain on the other side. The streets of the old core lead down to the water, and newer districts spread inland on flat ground.
The town's history is tied to salt. Brine was drawn here for centuries, and the Bad Salzelmen district grew into one of the early spa resorts in Germany. Its graduation tower, a long wooden structure where brine trickles over brushwood, is one of the longest of its kind, and it appears on the map as a long, thin line among the park paths.
A Schönebeck map poster brings the river, the spa and the town together in a single frame. The Elbe's broad curve balances the dense street pattern, while the greener spa quarter adds lighter space between the blocks. It is a map with a clear structure, industrial in some places and quietly leisurely in others.

Old centre to river

Zakaj Schönebeck
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Schönebeck is a place people are loyal to: former salt workers' families, spa guests, those who cycle the Elbe route. A map of the town is a calm way to keep the river and its streets close.
