Irrigation channels
Narrow canals cross the flat land and feed the rice fields, drawing straight and gently curving lines that organise much of the landscape around them.

Sepatan Map Poster & Print
Sepatan lies in the Tangerang area on the western side of greater Jakarta, on low, flat ground not far from the Java Sea coast. From above, the landscape is a patchwork of rice fields, small irrigation channels and clustered settlements, with roads running along the canals and between villages. Denser development appears where the area meets the expanding suburbs of the capital region.
The district is close to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and the pull of the metropolitan area is visible in how new housing and roads push into agricultural land. Sepatan is not a city with a single compact centre but a spread of neighbourhoods and villages, knit together by local roads and waterways that follow the flat terrain.
A Sepatan map poster records this landscape in transition. The regular lines of irrigation, the looser threads of village roads and the tighter blocks of newer housing sit side by side. Rendered in a single colour, the map shows how a farming lowland and a growing suburb share the same ground, which is something few maps of Jakarta's edges bother to capture.

Village clusters
Settlements gather in small, dense groups along roads and waterways, separated by open fields, so the map shows a scattered rather than continuous pattern.
Metropolitan edge
Toward the east and south, newer housing estates and wider roads appear, marking where the Jakarta region presses into the older agricultural landscape.
