Seriate Map Poster & Print
Seriate lies immediately southeast of Bergamo in Lombardy, on the flat land of the Po plain where the Serio river flows south from the Alps. On a map the town is closely tied to the river, with its centre on the banks and residential districts, industrial areas and main roads spreading across the surrounding plain.
The town takes its name from the river, and the Serio remains its defining natural feature. Seriate forms part of the wider Bergamo area, closely linked to the city by road and rail, while the airport of Orio al Serio lies just to the south. Its layout mixes an older core with later growth along major routes.
A Seriate map poster reflects the balance between the river and the town. The Serio's course runs clearly through the map, bordered by greenery, while the streets and blocks of the town fill the surrounding space. It suits anyone with ties to Bergamo and the Lombard plain.
