Compact town core
The centre of Shāhi is a tight cluster of lanes, the densest part of the map. It looks like a small knot of lines surrounded by open land.

Shāhi Map Poster & Print
Shāhi is a town in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, on the wide alluvial plain of northern India. On a map, the land around it is almost entirely flat, and the town is a compact knot of lanes and roads. A handful of routes leave it toward nearby villages and the larger market towns of the district.
This part of Uttar Pradesh is mostly farmland, watered by the rivers and canals that cross the Gangetic plain. Towns like Shāhi act as local centres for trade, schooling and daily errands for the villages around them. The pattern is a familiar one across the region, a dense core with a looser ring of roads and fields around it.
A Shāhi map poster turns that pattern into a quiet study in line. The dense centre stands out against the open space around it, and the roads running outward give the drawing a clear sense of direction. It is an understated map, and for someone connected to the town it has a personal weight that a better-known city could not match.

Roads to the villages
Several roads leave the town in different directions and link it to the surrounding villages and district towns, giving the map a simple radiating structure.
The open plain
Around the town the Gangetic plain stays flat and open, so fields and scattered settlements take up most of the frame beyond the centre.
