Shikohābād Map Poster & Print
Shikohābād lies in Firozabad district in western Uttar Pradesh, on the flat Doab between the Ganges and the Yamuna. On the map, the town is a dense cluster of streets, with an older, irregular core and newer neighbourhoods spreading along the main roads. The railway runs through the town, and beyond the built-up area, farmland and villages stretch across the plain.
The town is traditionally said to take its name from the Mughal prince Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Shah Jahan. Shikohābād Junction is a station on the busy Delhi–Kolkata rail route, and the town lies within easy reach of Firozabad, a city famous across India for its glass bangles and glassware industry.
A Shikohābād map poster shows a small north Indian town in clean outline: the tight lanes of the old centre, the straight line of the railway and the regular fields around it. Without colour, the town's structure becomes clear and the composition feels calm and orderly, a picture of home that needs no explanation for those who know it.

Railway line
The main line between Delhi and Kolkata passes through the town, drawing a long, straight stroke across the map and marking the location of the junction station.
Doab farmland
Flat, intensively farmed land surrounds the town, with small fields and scattered villages forming a fine, even texture around the edges of the frame.
