Sojītra Map Poster & Print
Sojītra is a town in Anand district in central Gujarat, part of the Charotar region between the Mahi and Sabarmati rivers. Charotar is known for its fertile soil, its agriculture, notably tobacco, and its many families with ties abroad. From above, Sojītra shows a compact old core of narrow, irregular lanes, with newer housing extending along the roads leading out of town.
The land around the town is flat and intensively farmed, and the map shows a dense patchwork of fields separated by tracks and roads. Villages lie close together across the plain, so Sojītra's roads quickly lead to neighbouring settlements. Ponds and small water bodies, common in towns of this region, appear as open shapes among the streets.
A Sojītra map poster captures the texture of a Gujarati market town. The winding lanes of the old centre contrast with the straighter roads around it, and the open farmland forms a calm background. In black and white the composition is detailed but orderly, and it carries real meaning for families connected to Charotar across continents.
