Delta waterways
Small canals and irrigation channels thread between the villages. On the poster they add thin, winding lines alongside the road network.

Tanggulangin Map Poster & Print
Tanggulangin lies in Sidoarjo Regency, south of Surabaya, on the low, flat land of the Brantas delta. From above, the district is a close pattern of villages. Clusters of houses sit along roads and small canals, separated by rice fields and, toward the east, by the rectangular ponds used for fish and shrimp farming, which are common across this coastal part of East Java.
The district is widely known for its leather craft. Tanggulangin has long been associated with small workshops producing bags, shoes and other leather goods, and shoppers come from Surabaya and beyond to buy them. The area also borders the zone affected by the Sidoarjo mudflow, which began in 2006 and permanently changed the landscape of the surrounding villages.
A Tanggulangin map poster shows the fine grain of village roads and waterways typical of the delta. The main road and railway run north to south through the district, and smaller lanes branch off into the settlements. It is an intricate, detailed map, better suited to close viewing than to a single bold shape, and it rewards the time you spend with it.

Village clusters
Settlements form dense groups of short streets separated by fields, so the district reads as a mosaic of neighbourhoods rather than one centre.
North–south spine
The main road and the railway line toward Surabaya pass through the district, giving the map a clear vertical axis to organise the detail around it.
