Tapurah Map Poster & Print
Tapurah is a municipality in central-northern Mato Grosso, in the agricultural heartland that has grown rapidly since the late twentieth century. The town was laid out on flat land, and from above it shows a regular grid of straight streets with blocks of similar size. Beyond its edges, the map opens into large rectangular fields divided by long, straight roads.
The economy rests on large-scale farming, mainly soybeans, maize and cattle, and the landscape shows it. Strips of remaining forest follow the streams between the fields, in the transition zone between the cerrado and the Amazon rainforest further north. On a map these streams appear as thin, winding lines across an otherwise geometric countryside.
A Tapurah map poster shows a young town with a clear plan. The central streets run straight, the blocks repeat in a steady rhythm, and the outer roads line up with the field boundaries. It is an honest, orderly picture of a place built for work, and the grid looks particularly sharp in the Blueprint style.

Main avenues
A few main roads cross the grid and carry most of the town's traffic. On the poster they appear as slightly heavier lines that organise the whole plan.
Fields and stream corridors
Around town, straight rural roads divide the land into large farm plots, while narrow bands of forest follow the streams. The two patterns meet at the edges of the map.

Zakaj Tapurah
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Families who helped build Tapurah, like many in this part of Mato Grosso, often feel strongly about a town they watched grow from almost nothing. A map of its streets records that achievement in a simple, graphic way.
