Vaterstetten Map Poster & Print
Vaterstetten lies just east of Munich in the district of Ebersberg. It grew mainly after the Second World War, from farming hamlets into a popular commuter town, and the map shows that history plainly. There are generous residential estates, curving side streets and cul-de-sacs, all laid out around the railway that links the town to the city.
The municipality has several districts, mainly Vaterstetten and Baldham, each with its own S-Bahn station on the line toward Ebersberg. Their built-up areas almost merge into one long band of housing. The older village cores of places such as Parsdorf and Neufarn lie further north, closer to the A94 motorway.
Around the edges, fields and patches of woodland remain. This gives a Vaterstetten map poster a pleasing balance of dense, fine-grained streets and open ground. It is a tidy, calm composition, typical of the planned suburbs of the Munich region yet recognisably its own.

Suburban estates
Postwar housing areas fill the map with looping streets, short cul-de-sacs and small green spaces. Together they make a detailed but orderly pattern.
Motorway to the north
The A94 runs along the northern side as a clean, strong line. It separates the main residential area from older villages and open farmland beyond.
