Concession grid
Arterial roads follow the old survey lines at regular intervals. They form a pattern of large squares that organises the whole map and gives it a clear underlying structure.

Vaughan Map Poster & Print
Vaughan sits directly north of Toronto in York Region, and its map is built on the survey grid laid out in the colonial era. Major roads run in long straight lines at regular intervals, dividing the city into large squares. Inside those squares, suburban neighbourhoods fill in with curving crescents and cul-de-sacs. Industrial parks and business districts form broader, simpler blocks.
Highways 400 and 407 cross the city and meet in its southern half. Near that junction, the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre has grown into a new downtown, served since 2017 by an extension of the Toronto subway. Branches of the Humber River valley wind through the western side, leaving green, irregular corridors that break the grid.
The city brings together distinct communities, including Woodbridge, Maple, Concord and the village of Kleinburg, home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. It is also where Canada's Wonderland is located. A Vaughan map poster shows how these places fit together within the grid, with the river valleys adding a softer counterpoint.

Humber valley
The Humber River and its tributaries cut through western Vaughan. They leave winding green corridors that interrupt the grid and give the map an organic edge.
Highway junction
Highways 400 and 407 meet in the south of the city. Their broad interchanges and long curves stand out clearly against the surrounding neighbourhood streets.

Zakaj Vaughan
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Vaughan is where many families settled after starting out in Toronto, and a map of it often marks that step: a first house, a new school, a street where the kids grew up. It makes a considered housewarming or anniversary gift.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, so you might name a neighbourhood like Woodbridge or Maple and add a moving-in date. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as an instant digital download or a printed poster.
