Guadalupe River bends
The river loops along the western edge of the city, and its tight meanders form the most organic line on the poster.

Victoria Map Poster & Print
Victoria sits on the coastal prairie of South Texas, roughly equidistant from Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi, which is why it calls itself the Crossroads of Texas. On the map, highways arrive from all four directions and meet a loop road that circles most of the city.
The Guadalupe River runs along the city's western side, and its wooded, winding course contrasts with the straight streets. Much of the riverbank is taken up by Riverside Park, one of the larger city parks in the state and home to the Texas Zoo. Victoria was founded in 1824 by the empresario Martín De León, making it one of the oldest cities in Texas.
A Victoria map poster sets the river's meanders against the regular downtown blocks and the broad circle of the loop. That contrast between a natural curve and a planned ring gives the print its character. It is a Texas town drawn in a few confident strokes.

A large stretch of green follows the Guadalupe, leaving an open area in the street pattern right next to the older part of town.

A loop road circles much of the city and meets highways from every direction. It shows plainly why Victoria calls itself a crossroads.
