Waterford Map Poster & Print
Waterford is a township in Oakland County, Michigan, north-west of Detroit and next to the city of Pontiac. Its most recognisable feature from above is water. Lakes of every size are scattered across the area, some linked by channels. Residential streets wind around their shores in loops and cul-de-sacs rather than following a strict grid.
The Clinton River flows through the township and connects several of its lakes on the way toward Lake St. Clair. Major roads such as Dixie Highway and Telegraph Road cross the area in long lines. Oakland County International Airport occupies a large open space within the township, and its runways are a sharp geometric contrast to the curving lakeshores.
A Waterford map poster turns this watery landscape into a striking composition, with lake shapes scattered among the streets. Blueprint gives the water a deep, cool presence. Classic black & white brings out every curve of shoreline, channel and road, from the busy commercial strips to the quietest lakeside lane.

Oakland County airport
The runways and aprons of the county airport form a large geometric block among the residential areas, one of the most distinctive features on the poster.
Curving lakefront streets
Instead of a grid, many neighbourhoods follow the shorelines in winding roads and cul-de-sacs, a pattern that makes the map unusually fluid.
