Wembley Map Poster & Print
Wembley lies in the London Borough of Brent, in the northwest of the capital. On a map its most recognisable shape is the stadium: a large oval bowl set in open ground and surrounded by wide boulevards and new blocks around Wembley Park. Several railway and Underground lines cross the area and cut long curves through the terraced and semi-detached streets.
Wembley Stadium, rebuilt in 2007 with its tall arch, hosts FA Cup finals and England internationals and is one of the best-known venues in world sport. The OVO Arena next door and the Olympic Way approach form the event district. The older high street runs to the south, and Barn Hill lifts the ground to the north.
A Wembley map poster sets the monumental scale of the stadium against the fine grain of suburban London. The bowl and its plazas become a bold central shape, the railways add sweeping arcs, and the surrounding streets form a dense, even texture. It works for football fans as well as for people who simply call the area home.
