Winsen Map Poster & Print
Winsen (Luhe) lies in Lower Saxony, just south of Hamburg, on the small Luhe river near where it meets the Elbe marshes. The town's historic centre is compact, and the castle, Schloss Winsen, sits beside it. From above, the old core stands out as a small dense knot among much more spacious modern districts.
To the north, the land flattens into marshland crossed by drainage channels and straight field lines running toward the Elbe. The Luhe winds through the town, and the Hamburg–Hanover railway gives Winsen a direct connection to the city, which has driven much of the town's more recent growth in commuter neighbourhoods.
A Winsen map poster brings these parts together: the river bends, the small historic centre, and the straight geometry of the marshland to the north. The new residential districts add a finer texture on the outskirts. It is a quiet, balanced map of a market town that is now also part of Hamburg's wider region.

Luhe river
The small Luhe river winds through the town on its way toward the Elbe, adding a soft curve to the map among the streets and fields.
Elbe marshes
To the north, flat marshland crossed by straight ditches and field boundaries creates an even, linear pattern that contrasts with the town's curving streets.
