Xinyu Map Poster & Print
Xinyu is a prefecture-level city in western Jiangxi province, set in a valley of rolling hills and farmland. From above, the urban core follows the Yuan River, which flows east through the city, with streets running parallel to its banks and bridges connecting the two sides. Beyond the centre, the grid gives way to fields, low wooded ridges and scattered villages.
The city grew rapidly in the second half of the twentieth century as an industrial centre, especially for steel, and more recently for solar energy manufacturing. In the south-west of the municipality lies Xiannü Lake, a large reservoir whose name means Fairy Maiden Lake and recalls an old legend set in the area.
A Xinyu map poster shows a city defined by its river and its surroundings: the tight grid of the centre, the gentle meanders of the Yuan, the parks along the water and the hills pressing in from both sides. It is a map with a clear, readable structure and plenty of breathing space.

Riverside centre
The densest part of the city sits close to the banks, where a regular pattern of blocks meets the bridges that tie both sides together.
Surrounding hills
Low, green ridges enclose the urban area, so the map fades out into curving country roads and open land rather than endless suburbs.
