Highland setting
Central Hainan is the island's mountainous core. The town occupies level ground between hills, so its outline is shaped by the terrain rather than by any planned boundary.

Yinggen Map Poster & Print
Yinggen lies in the highlands of central Hainan, far from the beaches most people associate with the island. It is the seat of Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, an area where the Li and Miao peoples have long lived among steep, forested hills. From above, the town fills a stretch of lower ground, and the terrain around it is left largely unbuilt.
The map shows a compact built-up area shaped by watercourses and a few main roads that lead out through the hills toward other parts of the island. Beyond the edge of town, lines become sparse and give way to farmland, forest and mountain slopes. Yinggen is the opposite of the dense coastal cities, and that contrast is part of its appeal.
A Yinggen map poster keeps that sense of quiet inland scale. The street pattern sits near the centre of the frame, surrounded by generous white space that stands in for the hills. For anyone connected to Hainan's interior, it is a reminder that the island's character comes from its mountains as well as its coast.

Roads through the hills
A handful of routes leave Yinggen and curve through the uplands. These winding lines spread out from the compact centre and give the composition its sense of movement.
County seat
As the administrative centre of Qiongzhong, Yinggen holds the county's densest blocks of streets. They appear as the one concentrated patch of detail in an otherwise open landscape.

Zakaj Yinggen
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Hainan's interior gets fewer visitors than its coast, and many people with ties to Qiongzhong have family roots there rather than holiday memories. A clean map poster of Yinggen marks that connection in a personal way that needs no explanation.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed to suit you, for example with a family name or a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and check the free 900 px preview before buying the $9 HD files.
