Yongbei Map Poster & Print
Yongbei is the seat of Yongsheng County in northwestern Yunnan, within Lijiang prefecture. The town lies in a basin enclosed by mountains, and on a map it forms a compact grid of streets on the level valley floor, with farmland around it and roads that follow valleys out toward the surrounding highlands.
The region is mountainous and deeply cut by rivers, with the Jinsha, the upper course of the Yangtze, flowing through the wider county. That terrain shapes the road network, which runs along valleys and winds up slopes rather than spreading out evenly.
A Yongbei map poster captures the contrast between the orderly town on the basin floor and the winding lines of the surrounding country. The compact centre, the fields around it and the roads climbing into the mountains give the composition both structure and movement.

Winding mountain roads
Routes leaving the town follow valleys and climb slopes, drawing long curving lines that contrast with the straight streets of the centre.
Surrounding farmland
Fields fill the level ground around the town, their boundaries forming a fine pattern between the built-up area and the hills.
