Industrial corridor
East of the centre, large factory lots and warehouses form broad, simple blocks along the main roads, giving the map a strong graphic contrast with the finer residential streets.

Yumbo Map Poster & Print
Yumbo lies immediately north of Cali in the Valle del Cauca, close enough that the two built-up areas nearly meet. It is one of Colombia's notable industrial centres, and on a map that role is easy to read: large rectangular plots, wide access roads and highway corridors spread across the flat land east of the old town.
West of the centre the ground climbs into the foothills of the Western Cordillera, and the street pattern changes accordingly. Neighbourhoods on the slopes follow the contours with curving, irregular lanes, while the older core keeps a compact layout of short blocks around its central square, in the tradition of towns founded in the Spanish colonial period.
Further east, the Cauca River runs through the valley, and the level farmland between river and town is laced with roads leading towards Cali and the north. A Yumbo map poster holds these contrasts in one frame: hillside streets, a traditional centre and the big, simple shapes of the industrial zone.

Cordillera foothills
To the west the land rises into the Western Cordillera, and streets there bend with the slope, breaking the grid into winding lanes and scattered hillside neighbourhoods.
Cauca valley floor
The flat valley stretches east towards the Cauca River, crossed by highways and farm roads that link Yumbo with Cali and the towns further north in the department.

Zakaj Yumbo
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Yumbo is often seen only as Cali's industrial neighbour, but for the people who live and work here it is a town with its own centre and hills. A poster with a personal title, a date or coordinates turns that familiar place into something worth framing.
Choose Classic black & white for a clean graphic look, Noir for a dark wall, or Paper, Blueprint and Sand for softer or more technical tones. The $9 digital download includes six print sizes; printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
