Zaidpur Map Poster & Print
Zaidpur is in Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh, on the wide, flat plain that stretches across the north of India. On a map the town appears as a tight knot of streets surrounded by a quilt of cultivated fields, with roads leading out to nearby villages and market towns. Because the land is so level, the pattern comes from settlement and farming, not hills or valleys.
The older part of the town is dense, with narrow lanes and closely packed buildings forming a fine, irregular mesh. Towards the edges the streets open up and give way to paths, field boundaries and small ponds or water tanks, which show as pale shapes among the lines. It is an intimate kind of map, built at the scale of walking.
Barabanki district has a long tradition of handloom weaving, and towns like Zaidpur grew as local centres of trade for the countryside around them. A Zaidpur map poster keeps that relationship in view: a small urban core, the roads that carried goods to and from it, and the open plain that still surrounds it.

Roads to villages
Several roads run out of town across the plain, linking Zaidpur to surrounding villages and to the wider Barabanki and Lucknow region.
Fields and ponds
Around the town, cultivated plots and scattered ponds break the landscape into small geometric pieces, a quiet contrast to the crowded streets inside.
