Bègles Map Poster & Print
Bègles borders Bordeaux to the south and faces the Garonne along its eastern side. The map is dense and close-knit. Narrow streets of low terraced houses fill the older neighbourhoods, and larger blocks and industrial sites sit along the river and the railways. The river's wide, smooth curve forms the commune's longest and clearest edge.
Railway lines heading south from Bordeaux cut through the commune, and ring roads and bridges connect it to the rest of the metropolitan area. Near the river, the street pattern opens up into former industrial land and green areas. The contrast between tight residential blocks and larger open parcels gives the map a strong rhythm.
Bègles is widely known for rugby, and the club that later became Union Bordeaux-Bègles has its roots here. A Bègles map poster, though, is about the everyday fabric: the small streets, the rail corridors and the river. It suits anyone who knows the commune as a neighbourhood of Bordeaux with a character of its own.

Rail corridors
Tracks heading south from Bordeaux cross the commune in long parallel lines. They divide the neighbourhoods into distinct pieces and give the plan a strong linear accent.
Terraced streets
The older residential areas are made of narrow lanes lined with single-storey houses. At print scale they form a fine, close texture typical of the Bordeaux suburbs.
