Crescents and courts
Short loops and dead-end courts branch off the main curving roads. The pattern is dense and intricate, and it reads beautifully in black and white.

Bridlewood Map Poster & Print
Bridlewood is a residential neighbourhood in Kanata, on the western side of Ottawa, Ontario. It is a planned suburb, and its map shows it clearly. A few curving collector roads carry traffic through the area, while smaller crescents, loops and courts branch off them. The pattern is intricate and inward-looking, built for quiet streets rather than through traffic.
Parks, school grounds and green corridors are spread through the neighbourhood, and pathways link them between the houses. To the south and west, the suburb gives way to open country and woodland at the edge of the city. Ottawa's west-end employment areas and main roads are close by, which is part of why the area appeals to families.
A Bridlewood map poster makes something graphic out of an everyday suburb. The looping streets and small courts create a pattern that looks almost like a drawing. For people who live here, it shows the particular crescent where they live, the park the kids played in and the route to school.

Green corridors
Parks and pathways wind between the rows of houses. On the map they leave open channels that break up the residential texture.
City's western edge
Bridlewood lies at the western limit of Ottawa's suburbs. Beyond it, the map opens out into rural land and woods.
