Radiating approach roads
Several roads converge on the town from the surrounding villages, forming a loose star around the centre that reads clearly even at the smallest print size.

Mapa
Bhoom Map Poster & Print
Bhoom sits on the upland plateau of Maharashtra's Marathwada region, where the land is broad, fairly level and marked by seasonal watercourses instead of large rivers. On a map the town is a tight cluster. Its lanes are dense at the core and loosen quickly at the edges, where the grid gives way to farm tracks.
Towns like Bhoom grew as local centres for the villages around them. Roads come in from several directions and meet near the older part of town, which gives the plan a loose star shape. A Bhoom map poster shows that pattern plainly: a knot of short, irregular streets with longer, straighter roads running out towards the surrounding countryside.
In black and white the contrast between built-up and open land is the main thing you see. The fine texture of the town core stands against the sparse lines of the fields. It is a quiet, legible composition that suits a small place with a clear centre and a clear edge.

Dense old core
The oldest part of Bhoom is a close weave of short, irregular lanes, the darkest and most detailed patch on the poster.
Plateau farmland
Beyond the last houses, the map opens into the sparse field tracks and seasonal streams of the Marathwada plateau, giving the design plenty of calm white space.
