Mapa
Bilāspur Map Poster & Print
Bilāspur lies on the Arpa River in northern Chhattisgarh, and the river gives the city its main natural line on the map. The older part of the city is packed between the riverbank and the railway, a tangle of market streets and houses. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward in more regular blocks.
The railway has shaped the city. Bilāspur is the headquarters of the South East Central Railway zone. The large railway station, yards and staff colonies make a distinct area on the map, with long tracks and orderly housing. The city is also home to the High Court of Chhattisgarh.
A Bilāspur map poster shows the several patterns side by side: the organic lanes of the old centre, the geometric railway settlement, and the looser edges toward farmland and villages. The Arpa crosses the whole picture, its wide sandy bed clear against the streets.

Railway zone
The station, yards and railway colonies cover a large area of the city. Straight tracks and planned housing contrast with the dense old town nearby.
Old market streets
The oldest part of the city has narrow, winding streets near the river. It is the most finely detailed area on the map.
