Brownsville Map Poster & Print
Brownsville is an unincorporated community in Miami-Dade County, northwest of downtown Miami. Its map follows the county's numbered street system exactly. Straight streets and avenues cross at right angles and form small, regular blocks from one edge of the neighbourhood to the other.
The Metrorail line gives the grid its most distinctive feature. It passes through on an elevated guideway with a station named after the neighbourhood, and its path cuts across the regular blocks. Wide arterial roads frame the area and carry traffic toward downtown and the airport. Between them, residential streets fill the grid with modest houses, small parks and schools.
Brownsville has long been a historically Black community in Miami, and many families have deep roots in these specific blocks. A Brownsville map poster captures their layout exactly. It is a disciplined, rectilinear print, well suited to modern interiors, and it shows the particular corner of Miami that residents consider home.

Metrorail corridor
The elevated rail line passes through the neighbourhood with its own station. On the map it reads as a strong line that breaks the grid's symmetry.
Arterial frame
Broad avenues and major roads border the community and connect it to the rest of the county. Their heavier lines give the composition a clear frame.
