Mapa
Bürstadt Map Poster & Print
Bürstadt is in southern Hesse, in the Hessian Ried, the low, flat land on the east side of the Upper Rhine plain. The Rhine itself runs a short distance to the west, with Worms on the far bank, and Mannheim lies to the south. From above, the town has a compact centre with residential areas around it and a railway line passing through, all surrounded by large, level fields.
The Ried has long been farming country, with wide, open fields and a landscape shaped by old river channels and drainage. Bürstadt is a local centre in the Bergstraße district, and its position within reach of Mannheim, Worms and Darmstadt makes it part of a larger metropolitan region while keeping a small-town scale.
A Bürstadt map poster shows the calm geometry of the Rhine plain: a clearly defined town, straight roads leading out to neighbouring villages, and a regular grid of fields around it. With no hills to bend the streets, the lines stay orderly, and the print has a clean, balanced feel.

Railway line
A rail line crosses the town and runs straight across the plain. It gives the poster a strong, clean diagonal through the built-up area.
Ried farmland
Flat fields surround the town in large regular plots, divided by farm tracks and drainage lines. They give the edges of the map a fine grid.
