Lakes and canals
Dozens of man-made lakes, some rectangular and some irregular, are scattered across the city and give the poster a distinctive pattern of pale shapes.

Mapa
Doral Map Poster & Print
Doral lies in Miami-Dade County just west of Miami International Airport, on flat land that was once part of the eastern edge of the Everglades. Incorporated in 2003, it is one of the newer cities in South Florida, and its map is dominated by large blocks: warehouse districts, gated residential communities, golf courses and a surprising number of man-made lakes.
Major highways frame the city, with the Palmetto Expressway on the east, the Florida Turnpike to the west and the Dolphin Expressway along the south. Within this frame, the street grid is broken into large parcels, with logistics buildings serving the airport and the port, and residential areas arranged around lakes and canals.
Doral is known for its golf resort, long a stop on professional tours, and for a large Venezuelan community that has made the city one of the main centres of Venezuelan life in the United States. A Doral map poster turns its mix of lakes, fairways and industrial blocks into an unexpectedly graphic design.

Golf fairways
The resort's courses spread across the centre of the city, their long curving fairways and water hazards drawing soft lines among the grid.
Warehouse districts
Large logistics buildings near the airport occupy broad, rectangular blocks, giving the eastern side of the map a bold, geometric look.
