Mapa
Fort Lee Map Poster & Print
Fort Lee stands on top of the Palisades, the line of cliffs rising above the western bank of the Hudson River in New Jersey. The river forms a sharp boundary on the map, and directly across it lies upper Manhattan. The George Washington Bridge lands here, and its approaches create one of the most striking tangles of highway ramps in the region.
The borough takes its name from a Revolutionary War fort built on the cliffs, and the site is now remembered at Fort Lee Historic Park. In the early twentieth century, before Hollywood, Fort Lee was a centre of American film production, with studios drawn by the light and the scenery.
Today tall residential towers line the cliff edge, and a dense network of streets fills the land behind them. A Fort Lee map poster brings together the river, the bridge and the compact borough in one clear composition, with New York just across the water.

Hudson and Palisades
The river runs along the eastern edge, backed by the cliffs of the Palisades, giving the map a strong natural boundary and a sense of height.
Dense borough grid
Behind the cliffs, closely packed residential streets and high-rise sites fill the borough, contrasting with the open water and parkland along the edge.
