Glenvar Heights Map Poster & Print
Glenvar Heights is an unincorporated community in Miami-Dade County, southwest of downtown Miami. Like most of the county, it follows the Miami grid, where numbered streets and avenues cross at right angles across flat, low-lying ground. On a map this gives a very even texture of residential blocks, broken only by the wider arterial roads that carry traffic across the county.
Inside that grid, the residential streets are less strict than they first look. Some blocks are cut through by curving lanes, cul-de-sacs and small loops, which were common in post-war Florida suburbs. The land is almost perfectly level, so nothing in the terrain interrupts the pattern. What you see from above comes entirely from how the roads were planned.
A Glenvar Heights map poster turns a familiar South Florida neighbourhood into a clean graphic study. Straight arterials frame the drawing and the smaller residential streets fill it with fine detail. It suits someone who grew up in these blocks, a family that has just bought a house here, or anyone who likes the orderly look of a planned American suburb.

Suburban loops
Inside the larger blocks, curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs soften the grid and add finer, more organic lines to the composition.
Arterial frame
Wider through roads mark the edges of the neighbourhood and divide it into clear sections, which gives the poster a strong structure.
