Old and new blocks
A compact older core of small, irregular streets sits beside newer districts of broad avenues and large rectangular blocks, a contrast that stands out clearly on the poster.

Mapa
Jinfeng Map Poster & Print
Jinfeng lies in Jiangxi Province, southeast of the provincial capital, Nanchang, in low and well-watered country. Like many towns in this part of China, it combines an older core of closely packed streets with newer districts laid out in wide, regular blocks. From above, the contrast between the two is one of the first things you notice.
Water shapes the countryside around the town. Rice paddies, fish ponds and small reservoirs lie between low wooded hills, and the rivers of this region drain north into the Poyang Lake basin, home to China's largest freshwater lake. Roads and villages follow the higher ground and form a fine, irregular web across the landscape.
The town's edges are where the map becomes most interesting: new avenues push out into the fields, and older villages sit beside them. A Jinfeng map poster captures that meeting of rural Jiangxi and the modern street grid, rendered in clean black and white.

Ponds and paddies
Around the town, water appears in small shapes everywhere: ponds, reservoirs and rice fields. Together they give the map a scattered, delicate texture.
Wooded hills
Low hills break up the plain, pushing roads and settlements into the valleys between them and leaving quiet green areas at the edges of the composition.
