Cerro Ñemby
The hill rises from the surrounding neighbourhoods. On the poster the street grid bends around it and leaves a quieter space in the city pattern.

Nemby Map Poster & Print
Ñemby lies just south of Asunción, within the metropolitan area of the Paraguayan capital. From above it is part of a continuous urban fabric, with streets running into neighbouring San Lorenzo, Lambaré and Fernando de la Mora. The land rises and falls gently, and residential blocks follow it in a loose grid.
The city's most distinctive natural feature is Cerro Ñemby, an isolated hill that stands out from the surrounding neighbourhoods. On the map it shows up as an area where the streets curve and thin out. Its upper slopes have long been used for stone quarrying.
Ñemby has grown quickly as a home for people working in the capital, and many of its neighbourhoods are relatively new. A Ñemby map poster shows a suburban place with its own shape: a spreading grid, main roads leading toward Asunción, and the hill as a clear landmark.

Suburban grid
Residential streets form a fairly regular grid across most of the city. It gives the map an even, finely drawn texture.
Roads to the capital
Main avenues lead north toward Asunción and link Ñemby to the rest of the metropolitan area. They form the strongest lines in the frame.
