Suburban loops
Winding residential streets, crescents and cul-de-sacs fill the township with an intricate, almost botanical pattern very different from a city grid.

Mapa
Old Bridge Map Poster & Print
Old Bridge is a large township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, stretching from Raritan Bay inland across wooded suburbs. Its map is dominated by curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and loops, the typical pattern of postwar development. Major routes cut through it, including Route 9, Route 18 and the Garden State Parkway nearby.
In the north, the Laurence Harbor section meets Raritan Bay along a stretch of beach and bluffs. Cheesequake State Park, with its tidal marshes and pine woods, lies on the township's eastern edge. The name comes from an early bridge across the South River, near where the settlement began.
An Old Bridge map poster shows suburban geometry at its most intricate. Dozens of neighbourhood loops and dead ends nest between the highways, and irregular green spaces, lakes and marshland open up the pattern. The bayfront gives the upper edge a firm line, and the whole composition looks surprisingly delicate in print.

Raritan Bay edge
Laurence Harbor meets the bay in the north, adding a clean shoreline to an otherwise inland, road-dominated map.
Cheesequake marshes
The state park's tidal creeks and wetlands create a wide, irregular open area where the street network gives way to water and woods.
