Lake Sammamish shore
The lake stretches along the western boundary as a long, narrow body of water, giving the map a strong vertical edge against which the residential streets thin out and stop.

Sammamish Map Poster & Print
Sammamish sits on a raised plateau east of Seattle, and from above it reads as a dense green upland threaded with looping residential streets. The long shoreline of Lake Sammamish runs along its western edge, while the land falls away eastward toward the Snoqualmie Valley. Few straight lines survive here; roads bend around ravines, ponds and patches of second-growth forest.
Smaller lakes are scattered across the plateau, among them Pine Lake and Beaver Lake, each ringed by houses and park land. A handful of arterial roads carry traffic north toward Redmond and south toward Issaquah, and between them the neighbourhood streets branch into short dead ends. The overall pattern is more organic than gridded, shaped by slope and water rather than survey lines.
The city incorporated only in 1999, which makes it one of the younger municipalities in King County. A Sammamish map poster captures that recent, low-density suburban form in clean black lines: the broad lake on one side, the scattered ponds in the middle, and a lacework of streets filling the rest of the plateau.

Plateau lakes
Pine Lake and Beaver Lake appear as small rounded shapes in the middle of the city, each surrounded by a tight ring of streets and wooded parkland.
Cul-de-sac pattern
Instead of a grid, most neighbourhoods branch off a few main roads into curling lanes and closed loops, a texture that looks almost botanical when printed in black and white.

Zašto Sammamish
Mapa koja nešto znači
People who grew up on the plateau or moved there for the lakes and trees often want a reminder that is quieter than a photograph. The winding streets and scattered water make an unusually decorative map, and the city fits comfortably on a single sheet.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed, so the poster can mark a street, a move-in date or a family name. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room it will hang in.
