Winding hill roads
The routes in and out of town follow the terrain rather than a compass line. They make loose curves that give the poster a soft, hand-drawn feel.

Shetan Map Poster & Print
Shetan is a town in the Chongqing municipality, a region known for steep, ridged terrain. In this part of south-western China, flat land is scarce, and settlements tend to follow valleys, terraces and the lines of roads cut into hillsides. From above, the result is irregular. Streets curve and double back, and buildings gather wherever the ground allows.
There is little of the rigid grid familiar from plains cities. Instead, the town reads as a loose, organic cluster linked to the surrounding countryside by winding routes. Beyond the built-up area, the map thins out into field paths and scattered hamlets across the hills.
A Shetan map poster turns that topography into line work. The contours are not drawn, but you sense them in the way the roads refuse to run straight. It is a quiet, understated image of a hill town in one of China's most mountainous municipalities, and it suits anyone with a personal link to the place.

Clustered centre
Buildings and lanes gather where the ground levels out and form a compact core. Sparser countryside surrounds it on all sides.
Rural surroundings
Toward the edges of the frame, thin tracks and scattered settlements appear. They hint at the farmed hillsides typical of the wider Chongqing region.

Zašto Shetan
Mapa koja nešto znači
For someone who comes from Shetan or has family there, a poster keeps a small, specific place on the wall, one that rarely appears in print. The curving street pattern is recognisable to anyone who knows it and still reads as an abstract drawing to everyone else.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, in English or with a family name. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files and printed posters are both available.
