Diagonal railway
The rail line cuts across Wasco at an angle to the street grid, one of the few lines on the map that breaks the town's strict north-south order.

Mapa
Wasco Map Poster & Print
Wasco lies in the northwest of Kern County, in California's southern San Joaquin Valley. The land here is almost perfectly flat, and the city follows a disciplined grid of streets aligned to the compass. A railway line runs diagonally through town, and State Routes 43 and 46 cross nearby. Beyond the last blocks, square fields and orchards extend in every direction.
Wasco is known as the Rose Capital of the Nation, since a large share of the rose bushes sold in the United States are grown in fields around the city. Each year the Wasco Festival of Roses celebrates this harvest. Almonds, pistachios and other crops also fill the surrounding land, which from above looks like a precise chessboard of plots.
A Wasco map poster shows how clearly a valley town can be read from above: the regular blocks, the diagonal track, the highways and the vast field grid all in balance. In black and white it has an almost architectural feel, with every line pointing to the agricultural logic that shaped the city.

Zašto Wasco
Mapa koja nešto znači
Wasco's map appeals to people who value clean lines and farming heritage, and to anyone who grew up among its rose fields and orchards. It suits a kitchen, an office or a gift for someone who has left the valley but still thinks of it as home.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a graduation or family year, and edit the coordinates line. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Blueprint suits the precise grid especially well.
