Looping neighbourhoods
Each residential village is built around its own loops and cul-de-sacs, creating repeating curved shapes that give the map its distinctive, almost organic texture.

Mapa
Westchase Map Poster & Print
Westchase is a master-planned community in northwest Hillsborough County, a short drive from central Tampa. Built largely from the 1990s onward, it looks nothing like the city's older grid. Its streets curve in long arcs and split into loops and cul-de-sacs. They gather into distinct neighbourhoods, each reached from a collector road rather than from a continuous street network.
Water is everywhere on the map. Retention ponds and small lakes sit between the housing clusters, a practical answer to flat ground and heavy summer rain, and golf fairways thread through the middle of the community. Wider arterial roads run along its edges, so the curves inside read clearly against straighter lines.
A Westchase map poster makes the logic of planned suburbia visible. What feels like a maze from the car becomes an ordered pattern from above, with every loop and pond in its place. It is a portrait of a very specific idea of home, and in black and white it looks almost like a botanical drawing.

Ponds and lakes
Many retention ponds and small lakes appear as pale, rounded forms between the streets, one of the clearest signatures of Florida suburbs seen from above.
Golf course corridor
Fairways wind between the housing clusters, leaving a long ribbon of open ground through the community that reads as calm white space on the print.
